This B&B exceeded expectations. The views from Google do not do it justice. ***WHAT A FIND!!!*** Beautiful historic structure. Impressive job of weaving in modern luxuries while still staying true to all the original beauty and architecture. I stayed in the Virginia Lee Room. Huge windows, high ceilings, tons of natural light, with sitting area and heated en-suite. If you know what you’re looking at, there’s beautiful consistency throughout. Both hosts demonstrate a true understanding and appreciation for the whole customer experience. They are warm, perceptive, very intelligent and engaging. I got unbelievable service and a top notch room. I came just looking for a clean, quiet bed and left with an experience to remember! Hands down the best place to stay in the entire area. Would be a first pick for retreat or getaway for sure.
Pat and Steve transformed a business trip into a vacation. The home is beautiful with thoughtful details throughout. The beds are divine.nnSteve provided a welcoming to each day with his amazing breakfasts. I can not say enough about the hosts or the home.
Not only is the Hardy House a beautiful home, the hospitality is absolutely unmatched. Steve and Patty Israel took care of our every need during our visit and went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable. Ask Steve to point you in the right direction for Civil War historical sites and great food!nnWe will DEFINITELY be back!
