Southeastern Physical Therapy

An orthopedic surgeon suggested that I go to physical therapy. In the interest of full disclosure, I typed in “physical therapy near me” in the search engine, and Southeastern Physical Therapy of South Norfolk was the closest. I don’t know if it was luck or divine intervention, but this place isn't just near where I live, it's truly the best physical therapy facility in Hampton Roads, maybe even all of Virginia. Southeastern Physical Therapy of South Norfolk is a gem. At Southeastern Physical Therapy, expect to receive care that you can trust. I’ve been to physical therapy before because of a juvenile spinal cord injury, so I can be hypercritical and high strung at times. Because of Teri Scott, I'm at ease and can focus on the treatment plan that I have full faith and confidence in. When it comes to physical therapy, it's important to find a clinician who is kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Teri Scott is all of those things, and more. The entire staff should be mentioned as well. The culture here is friendly, inviting, professional, and warm. The first evaluation was comprehensive. Don’t be alarmed if you’re given exercises to do at home after the first evaluation. Pro-tip: trust the process. I'm glad I did, and I'm glad I found this place. I honestly can’t say enough good things about SPT of South Norfolk, Teri Scott, or the other members of the team. I would highly recommend the establishment for all of your physical therapy needs.

The people at southeastern are awesome. Cory is able to work miracles. And all the staff helps you to the best of there ability. I would recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy.

When I first started with this group I was in pretty bad shape. Cori is absolutely the best physical therapist there is in life. She got my body almost back to normal. I had a set back and that’s when Teri stepped in and started dry needling and it worked great. Erica, John, Rachael, Chris, and Hunter are the best techs and I would not go to anywhere else for physical therapy except Southeastern Physical Therapy Pointdexter in Chesapeake.

I was actually nervous about physical therapy based on what I’ve seen with other companies. I can honestly say this is the best place for physical therapy. They work as a family and treat you as such. Very down to earth environment. No judgement. Very professional and eager to work with you instead of push you away. I highly, highly, highly recommend southeastern physical therapy to anyone.
