Great place to watch the sunrise!! The AT runs right through the parking lot. The hike South goes towards Loft Mountain Campground and the North to Pinefield Gap. There are scenic views on either trail but you have to earn it by hiking quite a distance.. Plan enough time to enjoy your hike along the way!!

Just an awesome view. Many turnouts but this one stood out on this particular day. Just stood, looked and relaxed... getting away for just a moment from all of the chaos.

Offers a nice panoramic view of sunrise (blocked partially by a mountain, that’s why not five stars). Plenty of parking spaces
