My wife and I travel the world enjoying indigenous and foreign grape varieties, blends and boutique wineries. Without a doubt Montifalco Vineyard and its winemaker/owner Justin Falco ranks in the top ten wineries we have ever experienced. Justin’s white and red blends are not to be missed. They demonstrate incredible detail, focus, discipline and art. Justin and his colleague Dennis set a gold standard for conviviality. This is a must experience Central Virginia winery. Kudos to Justin and Dennis.
My husband and I spontaneously stopped at Montifalco Vineyard, and we are so happy we did! We didn't need a reservation since we visited on a Thursday, but we called ahead just in case, because COVID. We didn't get to enjoy his outdoor space (which there is plenty of) since it was so windy, but Justin was super helpful when we were choosing a few bottles to take home. Montifalco is a small business, but still offers a wide variety of high quality wines, and you can tell that Justin is super passionate about his art. Montifalco is the perfect place to visit if you are looking for a smaller, down to earth winery in the area! We will definitely be back!
Excellent service with a super kind staff. The prices are very reasonable with a nice variety of wines. Beautiful scenery with plenty fireplaces and heat lamps. Will be coming back soon to this hidden gem.
