Residence Inn by Marriott Charlottesville Downtown

Great visit. Nicely located, lots within walking distance. Staff were great - very polite and helpful. All health precautions appeared to be followed. Will definitely be back.

Stayed here for two months due to covid job loss. Five person front desk staff led by Debbie all showed a fabulous competence in making our stay comfortable & enjoyable! This is a well run, top notch Marriot hotel in an exciting location, by the downtown Charlottesville mall. We really enjoyed a memorable stay & appreciate all of the covid precautions carried out in great detail here!

The stay was fine, but there is a very busy fire station nearby so you will hear sirens at night while trying to sleep. Also, on the weekends, the parking gets really tight and all spots in the garage will be taken. The staff may allow you to park in spaces where you're not really supposed to park, but I would get permission first. With COVID rules in place, the swimming pool and fitness center are closed. Also, it's a grab and go continental breakfast so self service like normal times.

Great location, great room. Pet friendly. A little pricey considering limited amenities secondary to covid but they do a great job with masks and other covid precautions.nnWould definitely stay there again

Amazing it was a work trip with my dad my mom and i went to the downtown mall we went to micky taverns we 1st stayed in waynesboro or however you say it and it was amazing we ate at bluemoon diner it was amazing i think you should go there we got it for free cause it was a work trip i liked micky taverns cause it had good chicken think its worth staying we got 7th floor by the camp fire i couldnt go to sleep cause the fire department was like few 1000 feet away go there if u got the money i also liked the lobby where they had like a mini store i liked the view! i live in alabama so it was a long time before we got to waynesboro we had some type of pizza i forgot the name but it was kindaaa bad lobby was amazing and in the master bathroom the shower was spaced alot i went there on 1/22/21 left 1/28/21 we went there in the winter ofc on our last day that we were there it snowed :( we never get snow cause we live in the south lol BUT I FEEL LIKE I WAS LUCKEY CAUSE AFTER LIKE 4 YEARS WE HAD SNOW THE NEXT DAY I GOT BACK HOME it wasnt alot though lol oh wait was i reviewing a hotel ill tell you my whole story i dont care so we went to some place i forget the name of it thennnn we we went to the books a million before i was borned my parents lived there and they showed me there house then my parents went to food lion i was close to the fire department and i couldnt really go to sleep cause of the sirens but i went to sleep but im not in a populated city where i live in alabama so i dont really get used to it but i think you should stay there ive told you 30 times i know but does it really look like i care okay goobye amazing hotel
