The couple had a beautiful farm and steel construction type barn but totally fit our theme for a rustic wedding and the prices were pretty good. They were very accommodating by allowing us to set up the wedding with countless signs, arches, and a doorway that we had built. They told us that we had the week starting on Monday, before our wedding to set everything up. We were propositioned later to give them extra money since we stayed longer than they thought we would one night while setting up. We had a gorgeous ceremony and all of our guests loved it.nnOn the downside, the couple were very cheap and the pastor/minister that they use is overbearing. The minister meet with us the night before the wedding at the rehearsal, not a month before as we were told. He had a ceremony set up that only appealed to his needs not ours. As my wife discussed parts that she would like to change or omit like, I was abandoning my family to start a new one. This bothered my wife since I had children and she just wanted to say something about us growing our family. He wanted to have an argument on why these words should be said and repeatedly threw out bible verses on way he was correct and ended up making my wife cry. I told him that we weren’t going to use that sentence and to omit it. We also had a reading we wanted to have my brother do and a Native American Water Vase Ceremony we wanted to perform and the pastor said that he had to pray about it to see if he would allow it. I explained that neither were against God or marriage so why was there an issue. When the wedding took place he didn’t say those words about me abandoning my family but added at least two more pages of his readings that we never discussed or went over. So I suggest to bring your own Minister/Pastor/Officiant since it’s your wedding and you want it done your way.nnAfter the wedding, we had numerous guests that told us that the owners of Cornerstone got snappy with them when they threw away their plastic plates. The owner said that they were going to wash them so they could be reused.

It was way less than 1 but that’s the lowest option. They used their personal grudges against me. Not letting me buy an animal just because they didn’t like me. If I were going to spend a weekend somewhere I’d do it where the people are honest and not fake. ud83dudc4cud83cudffb

I write this review as a person who has traveled for work for almost 20 years and I have stayed all over at many different places in and out of the US.nnI was a guest there from the 28th of April to the 8th of Nov. 2020. Yes, just over 6 months lol. I can tell you that I absolutely LOVED it there.nnI can tell easily say that they were more then accommodating to me and if anything was an issue, they were all over it. I can not tell you one single flaw about staying here. I love animals and this place was perfect. From the 2 horses, the 2 adorable dogs that eagerly awaited my arrival (much petting ensued lol)and the goats, it was great. Barb and her husband were always caring about how things were and about me personally also. When I first got there, I assumed it would just be another place I’d have stayed at in my travels. I would have never guessed that it would be a place that I would eagerly look forward to the going back to when the next site starts up there.nnThank you both for such a great experience and the friendship. The owners were friendly. The food was great. It was near interesting places to visit , and shop. We had a relaxing, enjoyable time, there .
