Jacqueline and Jim have done a fantastic job restoring/maintaining this gem of a farm in southern VA. We arrived to find a very clean and charming farmhouse with yummy cookies, a comfortable bed, and fascinating pictures and books. After a wonderful night's sleep, Jacqueline cooked an out-of-this world homemade farmhouse breakfast with fluffy eggs, sausage gravy, biscuits, fruit, jams--most of which was sourced right there from the farm. That morning, she took us on a complimentary tour of the farm and explained much of the history and operation of the farm. We fed a baby guinea hog from a bottle, fed hay to fainting goats, and toured the high tunnel garden and 18th century cabin on the property. Overall, it was a very delightful stay and we look forward to visiting again in the future!
Me and my husband just got home from picking up our new Guinee hogs from Old Crow Farm. Old Crow farm was so beautiful and they take amazing care of their animals and they have so much space to free range. Jaqueline was so nice and she is so knowledgeable about all her animals. We were glad to get our Guinee hogs from a certified USDA organic farm. We fell in love with her Dexter cows the pictures don't do justice for those beautiful animals and will defiantly call her when we are ready to add some cows to our own farm.
