Your staff that answers the phone for trash services is very rude and snippy when it comes to answering simple questions. If you don’t like your job, find a new one.

Trash at 222 Sylvan Rd has been sitting on the curb since Saturday, October 3. Why have no one picked up my home trash. Still paying my money, so I need my trashed picked up please. Or don't be charging me, sounds like someone is being lazy

Danville Public Works and its employees are completely unhelpful. I bought a house where the previous owner left over 80 cans of paint or stain. I called Public Works for proper disposal and was instructed to mix cat litter in every can, allow it to dry then sit the cans with their tops off by my trash can. I did so and the garbage man would not get out of his truck to pick up the cans,. I called Public Works and then a representative came by my house viewed the cans and refused to pick them up as well. When I called back, Public Works could not then tell me how to dispose of the 80 cans though I followed their every instruction. The best suggestion was I carry them to First Piedmont myself and pay an extra disposal fee. Really? The city wants everyone to be conscious of the environment, but they are unable to provide its citizens the proper instructions or facilities to dispose of items. The city needs to improve utilities all around.

Poor customer service. Unfair treatment. Not helpful at all. But it is the City of Danville, can't expect too much.
