Awesome views. It had been raining with lightning earlier. Amazing to see clouds clear from the valley looking west.

The drive in the blue ridge mountains is absolutely stunning anytime of the year, but especially at this time of the year. The leaves are turning color. Some are still green & others are all shades of yellow, orange and red! This is a great place to relax or to take a date or your family out into God's country!

We really enjoy this section of the parkway and this is a great picnic spot. There's room in the trees for the kids to walk around and climb on the rocks.nnThe picnic table could use maintenance or replacement though.
