Dollar Car Rental

Worst experience ever. The service person was rude to everyone. He kept the line long by asking us not to approach the counter until he straighten his papers and drank water in between every customer. He made us all feel like we were inconveniencing him. That was followed by a complete lack of understanding of his job causing several people ahead of me to return with problems. I was offered a toll pass and declined it, then later saw I was charged for it. I called the 800 number on the contract to fix it as was told to call the location only to fix it. No one at that location ever answered the phone on 4-5 attempts. I literally hate this place now and the experience is now two weeks ago. Please choose AVIS. The whole time we suffered, we had to watch happy AVIS customers clicking through the line and driving away with smiles on their faces. I got a preview of hell and the Devil has a Dollar rent a car name tag.

You get what you pay for. Super super slow. 1 attendant between 2 rental car companies. Slow talked. Slow mover. Lines for 10 fr of distance. The people in line just kept getting more and more frustrated coupling the problem.nnMore staff. And a few nice words go a long way.

I recently had a reservation for a car this past weekend. When I showed up I was told it would be about a 15-20 minute wait. I was directed to have a seat on the bench and they would call my name when the car was ready. There were two other parties just ahead of me that were told the same thing. Shortly after that there were about 8 more parties waiting for a car that also had reservations. The desk clerks kept discussing amongst each other that they had no cars and everyone had reservations and they didn't think they would get this many cars returned on a Saturday.nAfter waiting over 45 minutes with neither of the parties ahead of me being called, and seeing a person come in and walk right out and get a car that should not have, I went up to the desk to ask for a more realistic time frame. She told me 45 minutes. When I told her I had already been waiting for over 45 minutes, the time frame I was originally told, and that I just watched someone else go get a car ahead of everyone else waiting, she looked shocked and frantically went out to the garage. I ultimately ended up waiting well over an hour to get a car. If I showed up any later I'm not even sure if I would have gotten a car.nThis error or miscalculation caused me to miss an extremely important arrival to my destination. I emailed the company over a week ago and received no response at all.

The final payment was tripled as much as originally stated. A bunch of some additional payments in the invoice. This experience taught me to be more careful in choosing car rental companies. Defunetly I will never have a deals with this company.

I usually don't have a problem getting a rental car because I'm an Express Member. However, today when I go to pick up a rental from DCA, I am told by the lady at the desk that this location NO longer accepts debit cards for payment. When I call the 800 # for Dollar Express, they have no record in their system of this location not accepting debit cards....
