Read reviews this morning, went out expecting to pay cash. They now take credit cards. $0.30 fee + 2.5% of total charge added on. Came to $10.56 for my truck load of household trash. Not sure what else to say, it's a county dump. I actually like that you unload trash into a hopper and don't have to drive onto the trash pile, less likely to get nails in tire I would think.

One star for giving my dog a treat. One star for cleanliness. Expensive compared to other counties option. Don't take debit/credit cards. Ridiculous hours of operation.

Terrible hours. Too limited to work for the customer. I hear many customers complaining about the lack of hours which makes it very inconvenient to the people of Botetourt county. Need to be open at the convenience of the customer not the convenience of the employees. Especially since they charge

Not stinky like most landfills. Very clean. A place for tires. A place for scrap metal. A place for brush. A place for batteries and old oil. Scale in. Dump. Scale out. Easy.

Closes early, so inconvenient for those with busy or structured lives. Cash only. Individual areas for waste drop-off including yard clippings and paint. If your bring your pup along, they give out a Scooby snack!!
