Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum

A must to visit if you are in AlexandrianWe were the only two on the tour so able to ask questions etc and time was not a problemnamazing collection to look at when you realise what they made and distributed all over the states a priceless collection

I took a tour before the museum opened. The guide was very knowledgeable and the small group experience was nice. There is a free trolley that runs up and down that main road. There are really nice restaurants close by too. I had a lovely time in the area.

Closed from covid but still a neat historic site.

Interesting pharmacy museum. I gave it three stars instead of four or five becausenn1) I don’t care for being forced into guided tours.nn2) The tour was too short (30 minutes)nn3) We were supervised like little school children. I understand that everything in the building is historical and needs to be preserved, but while we were in courage to ask questions, they were also quick to usher us out to receive the last tour of the day. I spent more time getting to the museum than I did actually getting to enjoy it. If I had never visited a pharmacy museum before or an apothecary museum before, I would have been even more disappointed.
