Lovely area with several historic as well as wildlife info stations. So great for kids. The concrete part is big with plenty of room for skatters to skate under the shade if the sun is too hot on the trail. Being close to the water is also a plus. I saw a few guys fishing. So there is something for everyone.

Very diverse park! Lots of room for all kinds of activities! Nice walk along the river. Playground for children. Not enough parking.

Great destination for a run from Old Town Alexandria. It's a little less than a mile and a nice run along the water brings you to the entrance to Jones Point Park. From there, a short run under the bridge brings you to green open areas with well kept historical buildings.

What a hidden jewel that I never knew existed. Views of the Potomac- beautiful. Playgrounds-great. Bike trails- wonderful. Parking-plentiful. Bathrooms- what a plus.nI will be back!
