My wife and I bought our dream house on Nantucket and our broker recommended Pierce Galleries. She said that people have been going there for years because their outwork can make walls come to life even in the winter. She was right, the art is amazing. We took our time and ultimately bought 3 paintings that we just love. The owner was really good. He got out his tape measure, held up the paintings in different light and he talked to us about the art. You just don’t get that kind of service and attention to detail anymore these days. We highly recommend Pierce Galleries. If you’re looking to support a good local business, like we were, come here.

Very poor service, absolutely no information about the art or artist. I suspect many of the pieces any be fake or unable to be authenticated. Would not recommend.

My wife & I needed some art for our house and we stopped in here. We’ve walked by a few times and liked the art in the window but this was our first time in. Boy, were we impressed. I ended up buying 2 paintings & I walked out wanting more. The marine paintings are awesome. There are some other very cool street scene paintings, realism and other modern works. We also liked the doorstops. The owner knew his stuff and was really gracious to our little ones while we were shopping. I can’t say enough about how easy it was to look around, get information and buy the work. We got our paintings delivered, no hassle, and the owner even followed up to make sure we were happy.

This gallery has incredible museum quality American impressionist paintings by legendary artists such as John Singer Sargeant & members of the famous Boston School. Near the back of the gallery we saw a sweet Jane Peterson. It was incredible. The gallery also has stunning marine paintings by living artists. I found the perfect piece for my office and my wife loved the Lu American life paintings. He is a master of light and his paintings are just as beautiful up close as they are from a distance. There is so much to see and admire. You will fall in love with the gallery. It is unlike anything I have seen, even in New York.
