Puna Kai Shopping Center

It's so great to have Puna Kai Shopping Center open with its variety of restaurants already open and the businesses that are in preparation to open. I love that the people of Pahoa and the surrounding areas have access to nearby restaurants and businesses so nearby. The shopping center really is suited to Pahoa town and the aloha spirit is abundant here. I've visited patronized several of them and have been so pleased by the friendliness of the employees and the quality of the food on the various menus.nI how we support them all well so they can thrive through this difficult period and remain strong after, while still supporting our existing fantastic and deserving Pahoa Village businesses.

Nice addition to Puna area. But they should have had more parking. Especially Love island photos! Harry is a great photographer and Mouse is a great framer!

Nice to have a good selection of business in town. Adding new shops gradually. Some great restaurants. Island Photo is a fabulous art gallery. Great coffee shop. I am excited for more to open.

Puni Kai is a step up from the rest of Pahoa. It's modern, clean and has an increasing amount of shopping options. The new Malama grocery is much better than their old store. The restaurants are clean and do good takeout. Island Photo has wonderful photos on display. Am anxious to revisit after pandemic.
