Love Dr. Joy, she is hands down the best dermatologist on the Big island. She is caring, compassionate and listens to you. I would never even consider going to anyone else.

Dr. McElroy might hail from the mainland, but she was born with Aloha. I have never in my life experienced a physician with such kindness. She has treated my fiancé and myself with excellent care with a fun, contagious personality. She is an asset to the big island.

I had an appt on Dec 23rd. My boyfriend took half a day off of work to drive from Honomu. I searched Google Maps to find the approximate location. When we got to the location we still had 20 mins. to make the appt. We called to ask for help getting there the rest of the way. The receptionist put me on hold and when she picked up again she said we would have to re-schedule. I explained we came from Honomu & she put me on hold again. When she picked up again she said we were 15 mins late & canceled my appt. We drove four hrs., not to mention the gas wasted & only half day's pay for my boyfrie nd! I wrote her a strongly worded letter return receipt which only she could sign for & 3 weeks later I have yet to hear from her which I demanded she do! Unprofessional to say the least! I am also telling everybody I know!

Had appt 4 6 months. 10am it is now 10:40...no explanation
