Kona Coast Dental Care

My first experience with this dental office was talking to Shelly on the phone who is just as sweet as apple pie. She found an earlier appointment for me when I explained the type of pain I was in and when I came in I felt attended to right away. The price of the dental plan is what initially led me to look into this office but is is the great people here that will keep me coming back. The cost for dental care is less than what I am accustomed to paying in California and they are fast and efficient. I have no dental coverage from my work so having to pay out of pocket is much more comfortable here with Kona Coast Dental.

1/14/19: Great job replacing my old bridge with implants and crowns! They took a lot of time helping me to select the right material and color so my implants match my natural teeth.nThank you for your patience, great care, and complete professionalism!nn1/8/21: Another great visit with Dr. Sullivan, who clearly explained more about the care of my tooth implants, and Lisa, who did a great teeth cleaning. I scheduled my next visit in 6 months with both of them.

Super Happy with the entire office and especially Dr. Adair. Good explanations, and excellent technical competence. My wife and I are both happy patients.nnMarch 2021 Update... after two more years as a patient, I am even happier with Kona Coast Dental Care. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Casey was my dental hygienist and he was amazing! I hadn't had a cleaning for over a year as a result of the pandemic and was really worried there would be a lot of uncomfortable scraping involved to clean my teeth. However, Casey was very thorough and gentle. He also provided me with some great dental education during the process that was much appreciated. I've never really been a fan of the dentist, but I must say that I'm actually looking forward to going back and working with Casey again!

Full disclosure- I am an absolute basket case at the dentist. Prior to finding this place, and Dr. Shepard, I had problems with my jaw locking and just bad dental work in general. It caused me major anxiety and I avoided it.nnEveryone that works within this practice is fantastic. They are patient, kind, and very good at what they do.nnTo the people that mention it being expensive- dental work is expensive in general. I didn’t find their prices any more than other places I’ve been, and I honestly feel like Dr. Shepard’s work is much better. That’s not even mentioning the rest of the staff from office to hygienists! Taking care of your mouth is an investment in your health, and that shouldn’t be cheap.
