A church where everybody gathers to worship our God. And the people are very friendly

Definitely not the Assemblies of God your mama went to (or of my youth)!! Modern but still has the true relevant message. Pastor Evan (and the rest of the staff and worship team) are great - truthful and transparent instead of fake and stuffy.

We have been to this church a few times while on vacation in Hilo. We really enjoy it, everyone is so warm and welcoming, great uplifting music, the sermons are informative, helpful and practical to every day life, we highly recommend this church

Great church with good music and good people, felt very welcome here emphasis is on Jesus and Bible teaching, it’s a bit too far for me to drive otherwise would become a member here

The first and last core values on their website (as of this date) are self-centered rather than Christ-centered. When Christ is finally mentioned it's a boomerang back to how you can generously give and gift to them. Read the Word. Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world (1 John 4:1).nnCommitment — We value our church members who demonstrate commitment in regular attendance, generous giving, and consistent dedicated involvement.nnGenerosity — We believe that God is generous beyond measure, most notably expressed through the giving of His only Son, Jesus, for the race of humanity.  It’s our desire to follow His example by being generous with our time, finances, love, and gifting.
