East Hawaii Church of Christ

small house very run down. the crowd is very small many of the people are from the southern states so they are a different breed of folks in terms of communicating with. they are very old folks that are set in their ways. do not try to change their way of thinking. I would recommend this place if your very old this isnt a place for the younger crowd. the church comes across as a CULT. they are fanatical about no use of musical instruments during their worship of Christ. they go as far as to say any church that uses instruments is not the one true church within the scriptures and proclaim that they probably wont go to heaven. This type of doctrine is a part of the restoration movement. parking was difficult to find since the street was incredibly narrow.

I bible following church

very old building, cramped seating really uncomfortable. do not no where to park. the people are also not very friendly many of them are from the countryside. they enjoy arguing about the bible but when we asked them for their help they did not follow the scriptures. their was obviously a double standard. we did not like the influence that this place brings to our spiritual lives. the church of christ has always been seen as a cult we would recommend going someplace else that sets a proper example of christ for the sake of your family and kids.

would recommend going to an actual church that follows the scriptures. the church of christ is a cult. they interpret the bible in a way that suits them they will ignore any scriptures that requires them to change their lives. and they try to get everyone to think the way they think. The type of influence at this place is something you want your children to stay away from. They set a bad influence.

We were blessed to worship with this congregation twice in June. A wonderful congregation and wonderful members!! We will see you again the next time we are on the Big Island❤ufe0f
