Historic...Interesting story...clean portable toilet and washbasin.. This structure was moved a long way to its present location to escape encroaching Lava flows.

A beautiful church with colorful wall and stained glass representations of its history. A must see piece of Hawaiian history and culture, moved to its present location in 1990 to escape certain destruction by a Kilauea lava flow.

Would give a million stars if I could. Go there just on your leisure and I guarantee God will speak to your heart. This place is so blessed and highly anointed. Yes it is true that many missionaries came and conquered many communities all of the world in the name of Jesus and yes much wrong has been done in Gods name as with even changing the image of Jesus to suit a selfish need. Even with all this being said I know that there is reason for this even though I don’t know the answers why. I know God has the power to one day bring light to all the chaos that surrounds Jesus. But somehow I still believe that in a time long before with so many powers for whatever reason he gave much power to all those that followed in Jesus name. Please be respectful of this place and all places despite how you feel ask questions if you have them and I’m sure all the beautiful people that frequent this church will be honored to at least share a little but about what they know. Even if at the end all we do is agree to disagree with love and with peace I think we are onto something. Whoever reads this may God cover you with his light his love and his peace no matter what, who you are what you have done or what you believe in. We all will need each other in these upcoming times we are living in.

This little church is gorgeous with lots of history. Must see.
