I went in and opened up a new account, because they approved my car loan. Very nice service. Clean, following social distancing guidelines. I switched over from a bank I've had over 5 years. Convienent, and they are open on Saturday's!!!! I was driving 40 miles away for the nearest Bank, that I was using.. I relocated from another State and the bank I was using is more popular up there, than here. I am glad I switched to OCCU!! Thanks for the excellent service. I forgot that guy's name though that helped me.

I am also shocked on so many poor reviews! I have been with OCCU since 1972 (48 years). NEVER, have I had any such difficulties nor any rudeness. They have earned my trust through many business matters throughout the years!

I'm baffled by so many poor reviews. I've been a member for around 8 years, and have had nothing but excellent experiences. I've set up a business bank account with them, have a personal checking and savings with them, and have taken out at least 6 car loans, 2 motorcycle loans, and a motorhome loan. They are always respectful of my time. Often times I am able to call and have many processes already began before I even arrive.nI've worked in customer relations and sales for 15 plus years, and have very high expectations.nSalem branch, Oregon Community Credit Union has my stamp of approval.

I would never borrow money from them again if that was the only bank that would take me. I almost sued. They took someone ele's funds and put it on my account once, they acted like they didn't receive one of my payments til I brought proof 3 times. I had to threaten to sue to get my car title. Hope to never hear from them again. Brought down my credit score and what they finalky did to fix it was too little too late.

I would avoid this institution if possible. They are very similar to very large banks in that you will not receive personal attention as you would at a smaller, local bank.
