Cooney Reservoir State Park

Really nice no crowds, few speeding boats or jet skis ha ha. Plenty of camping spots with light wind's, perfect kayaking weather!!

Best place in early morning (like 7-10) for water skiing and wake boarding. We like the North launch bc there's more room for the boats and the trailers. It gets really busy after 11am though.

This campground is a large beautiful stop. The lake is cold but not too cold to swim in or get the boat out and jam it into high gear. The park rangers can be a little rude but still a perfect place to spend the weekend

It is a great place for swimming, boating, and camping.
