This parking lot has ample places to park. There are no lines marked out, so you just park wherever there is a space on this sand-covered lot. This lot provided direct easy access to the Blevins Trail (a nice hour long 3 mile beginner loop). Additionally, this lot is where a lot of the park's guided hikes start from- the meeting point, i.e. for the Full Moon Hikes.nThe only downside are the restrooms. They only have 2 port-a-potties which are kept reasonably clean, and they provide hand sanitizer inside. However, there are no sinks to wash your hands, no are there water fountains at this trailhead.
