This beautiful quiet water Marina is nestled deep inside the cul-de-sac end of Rockford Bay. There is a fuel dock, covered moorage, boat rentals and a well stocked convenience store (across the street) that has Chevron gas for your car. At the top of the boat launch is Shooters Bar & Grill with a covered patio as well as inside seating. We rented a pontoon boat from The Marina at Black Rock last year and again this July. My miss-informed impression was a pontoon craft would be a slow, somewhat boring ride but this 23 foot Peninngton with the big outboard engine is amazing! There is shade above, plush soft seating forward and aft, and the 3 pontoons provide a safe seaworthy feel for 6 adults and a 2 year old child’s mother even when cruising at sight seeing speed or at 30+ miles per hour across busy Lake Coeur d’Alene. If you chose to water ski this boat would easily handle it. This pontoon craft was perfect and the folks at the Marina were very nice, accommodating people to work with and for that reason the enthusiastic Five Stars. ud83dude0e
