The bartender was awesome, very inviting and helped us with drinks immediately. She took our orders, the order came out promptly from the kitchen even with a full bar, and she checked once while eating which was perfect because we don't like being checked on multiple times because we just eat and leave. Total props! She is the one with blue eyes and short hair, firefighter stripe mask. We LOVED the prices and environment, it looked like they have some good regulars. The only thing was when we were walking up, before we met the awesome waiter, the first waiter seemed a little new. She was taking the outside tables and when we walked up we were trying to make eye contact to figure out what to do. But even seeing us she walked past and didn't hold the door when we were like 2 people's length away from her the whole time. Friday 2/5/21, definitely coming back! If you're seeing this review, there is No reason not to eat here!
This girl loves her wings and this is her favorite spot.. for wings! Fun place, relaxed atmosphere, everyone was so friendly. Everything I ate was amazing, they have a fantastic team working there and they deliver quality. I look forward to coming back again!
I only have one thing to say about one of the workers here... the young kid who i believe is a cook? With the tattoos on his face, this kid is an absolute animal.. I see him in an out of the kitchen so many times, weather it be helping the ladies with their dishes, green bucket thing (whatever the hell thats for lol) consistent trash runs & interacting with the customers he seems like a star in this restaurant. I'm not sure how new or old he is as an employer here but man I surely hope he's making more than minimum wage, because he definitely deserves more than it with the friendliness he portrays, constantly smiling or just overall love for his job.
It's just ok for a few beers and maybe a little snack, only because it's very close to my house. It's a dive bar that doesn't strive to be any more than that. I like a dive bar occasionally but for being the local watering hole, this place has the potential to be so much more than it is. It could be really great.nnWe've been living in the same house in the neighborhood near The Gym for almost 13 years and it actually was pretty good back then until about 5, 6, 7 years ago or so. It's like they just stopped caring about making it a good experience because they took it for granted that they are easy access for people nearby. The beers are cold and the servers and bartenders are friendly and do a good job for the most part but the owners just don't seem to care that it's as basic as it has gotten. I love the idea of coming here more often (regularly) but I just can't bring myself to do it more than a few times a year and I'd rather travel a little further and beyond for a better experience.
Went here for lunch today. According to google popular time graph they are not busy at lunch time. We bought our food from another local establishment that does not serve beer. So we sat outside and ordered two tall beers. When they brought out the beers we were told that we could not eat our food. I certainly understand their desire to make money by selling their food. However maybe they should not have such draconian rules during times when they need to bring in more business. On top of that the waitress had a nasty attitude because we did not go into the bar and let them know we were outside. I will not be going to this establishment in the future.
