I had a horrible experience with this doctor. He was unprofessional, rude, and sarcastic. I was planning a natural birth which he seem to be on board with. Once I reached 40 weeks, he flat out pushed a csection on me. When I asked about the risks of csections, he said there weren’t any! Really!

He delivered my son on 2/14/16 and he was amazing. I'm only on here now because I was looking for a pregnancy over 35 video for my SIL and saw he had a YouTube Channel. I saw he hadn't made a video in a while so I wanted to check on what he was up to. Anyways, I never left a review because it never came to mind. I was a high risk pregnancy....overweight with a few other problems. He was very straightforward and always made sure to run extra tests and stuff if he or I had concerns. I also thought he was very funny.

We ended up loving Dr. Davis. Initially during our appointments we felt like he kept referring us to his YouTube videos, which felt impersonal. However, he would answer the questions then refer us to the videos. We went and looked at them later and found several helpful. I did appreciate that he is respectful of privacy and was very quick and efficient for anything he had to check under the clothing. He was also great during my labor and delivery. I do agree with a previous review about him not being a coddling doctor, which is what I like and needed. He is very knowledgeable and up to date with research which was nice to have in a doctor.

He was wonderful up until the day of delivery. He gave me such anxiety any time he came in my pushed became too little. He told me we could do a vbac but tried to push a c section on me. Finally he offered to use a vacuum to get the baby out and when I asked what the risks were he said they were so rare it didnt matter. My son ended up with a subgael hematoma which was terrifying. Had jaundice because of it and had to have a ct scan at 2 days old. He also put the vacuum on wrong the first time which is what caused this and the second time he got it right. Turns out I just had a big headed son and with some more attention probably could have gotten him out without all of the trauma. I do not recommend him.

I saw another doctor at Circle of Life for my OB care and ended up with Dr. Davis for my delivery, and my husband and I loved him! He was prompt and caring..even though we woke him up at 2 a.m! I loved him so much I decided to follow up with him for routine check ups and I'm very happy with the care he provides. He is efficient and kind, and I love the content he puts out on facebook and youtube for women's health.
