Slept there one night when I couldn't make it home after dropping my son off at the hospital. It's the over flow shelter for our area that's a 24 hour town that now doesn't offer 24 hour stores, city transit, or even places to grab a bite to eat. It was clean well run, and I felt safe
Awesome concert last night. The Hits Deep Tour is what's up! So fun and such high energy. Great stage and audience engagement.nMaybe more personnel to help you find seats when it's dark tho. And parking for events is pretty limited. We spent 30 minutes (which was 30 minutes before concert start time) looking for a spot. Ended up at the Sands (the lot across the street fills quickly). Then had to wait another 20 minutes to get in.
I do not like the events center for concerts. It was not designed as such and sounds like the shoebox it is.nI do like the facility for events like the Homeless services and the annual Salvation Army dinner are well organized and enjoyable.nI brought y'all down from 5 Stars because one mens room was a real cluster after dinner.
Great concert but the seating was horrible. Pay the extra money for chairs to sit in and ended up standing the whole concert because every single person in my section stood for the whole concert completely defeating the point of paying extra money for chairs. You would assume that when a venue offers a standing-room section and seeding separately that if you wanted to stand you would pay less money and go stand in the pit with everybody instead of paying for a chair to set your coat on so you can stand the whole time. Not to mention the crowd of people standing next to the chairs that were from the far back of the event center and paid nothing for their tickets because they got nosebleed seats but they were allowed to stand up front where people who paid twice as much were viewing the concert from
Went and saw Breaking Benjamin and Korn. Concert was great. The venue isn't bad, a little different seating than I've been to before. I would definitely recommend the standing area if you handle it. Seating in floor area was good.
