From some bad luck…to BEST of LUCK !!nBoy was I lucky to get Karen Kottinger as my Physical Therapist after suffering a spiral fracture of my femur at Alpine Meadows in January. I picked Reno Sport & Spine on McCabe in South Reno because it is the only Physical Therapy facility in northern Nevada that has an anti-gravity treadmill – I highly recommend them, a great facility and wonderful staff! And better yet, I was able to work with Karen Kottinger who has such a depth and breadth of both knowledge and experience that I felt very lucky to have her as my physical therapist. I felt confident from day one working with her that I was getting the best quality care and physical therapy possible to ensure that I healed properly and get stronger every day. I quickly went from being in pain and having to use a walker to being able to walk with a cane and soon to being able to walk without any support and being pain free. In addition to being such an expert in her field, Karen is also a very caring and supportive person. I tend to be impatient and demanding of myself, especially with regard to physical things, and she helped me keep it all in perspective which allowed me to make continuous improvement throughout the process.nKaren is THE BEST in my book!!
