Very impressed with the customer service. I called them why a new prescription was taking so long to fill. The pharmacist explained that it was unusually expensive and not covered by my insurance. $1,800 per month! She found an alternative and would check with my doctor to see if she would change her prescription. She did. My insurance covers it. And it now costs $1 per month. WOW!

Place made me late to work filling my prescription. Called in the evening was told it would be ready when they opened at 9am didn’t leave until 950.

I used to get almost all of my prescriptions filled at CVS or Walgreens because of my insurance. I started having various issues with customer service at one of the CVS's in south Reno about two years ago (rudeness, no help with insurance problems, long waits, etc), so I decided to try Walmart despite the reviews. I'm so glad I did because I am very pleased with the customer service there. On a couple of different occasions they've gone out of their way to try to help me with insurance coverage issues, etc. There's only so much they can do but at least they tried. I also have not had to wait very long. Usually I go when they first open or in the last half hour before they close. Going at lunch time or when people are getting off of work or school in late afternoon or early evening is a mistake at any pharmacy in our area.

I take multiple medications from several different providers. The pharmacy never fails to remind me when a refill is due and contact the provider if necessary to get the order approved. I was once out of refills for a blood thinner and the physician had retired without notice...causing the office to refuse to re-write until I came in for a new patient appointment with the new doctor. I have been on this med for three years from this office, and they refused to refill. The pharmacy got online and through the vendor got me a one-time 30-day supply....with no copay. I have never had a problem that the pharmacy didn't make every possible attempt to assist me with.

I would give it no stars. This pharmacy is terrible. They discriminate and have no consideration for people with chronic illnesses or how long it takes to wait in line and wait for a medication. They call you to come and pick up the prescription and when you get there it is not ready, or insurance won't pay, or they have to call the doctor for clarification. What if you have to travel or if you work too far from the pharmacy to pick it up. They don't care and they give you whatever line. Some times, they tell you go do some shop n and they will have your medication ready and when you go back they tell you another line. I spend at leas one hour each time and get nothing in return. Don't shop at this pharmacy.
