Friends of Washoe County Library is a charity that raises money for the Washoe County Library by collecting book donations (and other media) and selling them at books sales every couple of months. The selection of books for sale is extensive and the prices are dirt cheap. Most books are 50c for paperback and $1 for hardback. If you love books, you can't go wrong at these sales. Check their website for dates.

This is not a Library. I went there on a Sunday and it only had a back door open with some kind of church meeting inside. Strangely deceptive and uncomfortable experience. One of those bad map quest trips. Don't waste your time & gas.
