Have gone to Dr. Stanko for many years. He is skilled as well as friendly. Very pleased with the care I have received.

I am a physician and feel that Dr. Stanko is a doctor's doctor. of course I waited but not an excessive mount of time. I felt that I received the care I needed in a professional polite and warm manner

While I agree that appointments can seem to take a very long time, I don't think you will find a doctor better than Dr. Michael Stanko. My mother is 87 years old and has been seeing him for years with her various eye issues. He is so sweet with her and has given her excellent care. We're happy to put up with the wait time to be seen by such a great doctor.

Place looks good but kind of lost on what an appointment and appointment time is. 3:50 appointment and still in office at 6:25. Horrible wait time. If you have anything to do after an appointment here you might as well cancel that as you'll be here for 3-4 hours.

I was referred to Dr Stanko by my retina Dr to treat/manage glaucoma that was a side effect of other eye surgeries I have had. Both as a surgeon and my main eye doctor now for over 5 years, I have complete trust in DR Stanko.nSome issues with the eye require immediate treatment up to and including surgery to prevent permanent loss of vision. These can be specialized issues that cannot be referred to a hospital emergency room and consequently can disrupt the scheduled appointments with a given Dr. I have been on both sides of this issue and am grateful that I was moved to the “Front of the line” more than once. This has given me perspective on the rare occasions when my appointments with Dr Stanko get pushed back or take longer than expected.nI would (and do) recommend Dr Stanko and Sierra Eye Associates and his office to anyone in need of advanced eye care.
