Dr. Peter B. Dekay, MD

Dr. Dekay is absolutely amazing! He was my Dr. through my last pregnancy, he is extremely attentive, kind and knowledgeable. In the OR when he performed my C-section, he was patient and accommodating. LOVE this dr.! Thankful I got him after my last Dr. left the practice.

Amazing staff!!!!! Absolutely love Dr.Dekay and his staff!!! He makes sure your comfortable and explains things so well, he delivered my kids and kept reassuring me it would be ok when I had my surgery. I would highly recommend him and his staff!

Ok, I miust say Dr. Dekay is the best OB I could have had for my pregnancy. He is awesome! I had a heart problem that was aggravated by my pregnancy and also I was taking meds that affected my pain management regime. He not only listened to my fears of labor and worked with me on my birth plan, but he also made sure my pain was managed appropriately after my c section. In the delivery room I acted like a baby when I was getting the epidural. I was kicking, screaming, crying. He told the nurses to move aside. He got in front of me and had me hold on to him and talked me through the epidural. I would not have been able to get through this pregnancy. Especially the c section delivery without this Doctor. I owe him everything! Every time I think about everything he has done for me. I get watery eye. I had to drive into Reno to see him and o would do it again in a heart beat. I recommend him for anyone who has fear of going into labor or have any other issues. If your on meds and/or just want a great OB. This is your guy! I’m telling you..u will not feel sorry. He didn’t once make me feel bad for anything I went through. Which let me tell you. My pregnancy was not easy. I am not easy. I had a ton of problem and I’m just a problem period. He was always light hearted, humble and extremely professional - polite yet had a sensor humor that made me feel at ease. Thank you Dr. Dekay! By the way I’m not sure if this is appropriate but he is also easy on the eyes ud83dudc40 lol ;-)

I wish I would have found some other doctor. Dr. Dekey has not listened to me throughout my whole pregnancy. I have been in pain. In and out of er 13 times throughout the past few months. Told me he would induce me at 37 weeks because of the pain I’m in. Didn’t happen. Now I’m having to wait till I’m 39 weeks and I’m getting a c section. I feel very weak and so very exhausted. He doesn’t care about his patients. At least with me he never cared. Has been quick to get me in and out of his office. If anything happens to me or my baby before I have a c section, I’m suing.

I love Dr. Dekay! He is truly professional, consultative and friendly. I like a doctor who I can be honest with, who understands I'm human, and not perfect. He advises appropriately, and even provides referrals for doctors who practice in other areas, like gastro, primary care, dieticians, etc. He is straight and to the point and really seems to maximize the short time in order to provide care. Absolutely recommend him. The service with the office staff has somewhat improved since they moved to the new space.
