Dr. Leah L. Najima, MD

Dr. Leah Najima is a Boss! My husband and I both loved her. She is straightforward and funny. She shared her experiences as a mother which I really appreciated because I was a first time mom over the age of 35. Their office is very efficient. Each visit, I was in and out. I never waited in the waiting room for more than 5 min. I work full time so that was very important to me. The entire staff is very nice and easy to communicate with. On D-day, the doctor was there and the nurses were like angels. We ended up having an emergency c-section with Dr. Najima performed. It went really well and I am very thankful that she was my doctor.

Dr Leah Najima is the BEST OB and surgeon! She has delivered two healthy babies for me via c-section and I don't even have a scar or numbness since second c-section when she spent extra time after the delivery cleaning up scar tissue and making me look pretty there. She always leveled with me when I was gaining too much weight and helped with my fear of vaccines while pregnant. She is a fantastic MD!nMy husband and I tried for 3 years to make our first baby and when I started bleeding in the first trimester, her clinic was the only clinic in Reno that would see me (as I was not a patient of hers yet). Dr. Najima was very compassionate even though all the other clinics in town that I called said I was probably having a miscarriage, Dr Najima saw me the following day and leveled with me but also gave me great and hopeful advice and we delivered a healthy baby girl with that pregnancy. Our next pregnancy was also tough in that we struggled again getting pregnant. After a year of trying and a miscarriage she strongly urged me to give her 3 months on Clomid (an inexpensive medication) before going to the fertility clinic in Reno. I got pregnant on the second month and had another healthy baby girl. Dr. Najima is a fantastic MD and human, I cannot stress this enough! If you are lucky enough to become one of her patients you are in great hands. Also Dr Farringer at the practice is great too, he delivered babies for my friends and everyone loved him also. Her office staff is great too. The blonde lady that does your medical billing is great and there is a really nice lady that always answers the phone, she is so sweet.

Dr Najima was very sweet so down to earth. We felt very comfortable with her from the second she introduced herself. She explains everything in great detail. We are very excited to have her as our doctor. I would recommend her to anyone. Having a good staff is also a plus, I would never rank a doctor on her staff but they were very professional and sweet as well.

If you looking for a warm doctor who take time to explain things and make you confident and comfortable , please don’t go to DOCTOR LEAH NAJIMA.nMy experience with her was horrible on so many levels. They would called just for money or to scared you out. And then called back to say risk clear. But when you need to talk to the doctor, it’s never possible. Google was honestly more useful than her. I didn’t felt like she did even care. Plus their ultrasound wasn’t even in color. Since I had some complications, She recommended me Doctor Oki Earle. I loved him. ❤ufe0f It was always a pleasure seeing him.

Will never see this doctor again. During my pregnancy she didn't answer my questions or bothered to explain what was going on. I did my own research and read a lot which is how I knew what was happening with all my complications. At delivery she left and said she could not stay. My delivery took over 24 hours so she was forced to return. After delivery she did not show up a single time to check back. Nurses paged her several times to approve medications for complications that arose and she never responded. We had to wait until the Dr. on call for night shift arrived. Meanwhile I was in pain the entire day. Had complications post postpartum and she was never available. Will never return to this doctor. I recommend you find someone who is passionate about their job and cares for their patients. This doctor wanted me to return 2 months later and pay $2000 when the work could be done that day, she knew my insurance would not cover me anymore since it would not be considered postpartum checkup.
