Dr. James Kang and his associates have been nothing short of AMAZING!!! I first experienced his quick and quality service when my tooth broke in half. It’s been over a year and it’s still going strong. I recently saw him and He performed the same immediate service of the greatest quality today! A tooth his office didn’t even work on was fixed the same day. Thank you to everyone in the office.

The dentist is fine, a bit young and inexperienced but fine. However, the majority of the desk staff is quite hostile. I gave this office quite a few tries over the years and after feeling such hostility and to be frank, unsafe after each visit, I've started seeking dental care elsewhere.nAfter a couple of visits to the new place, I can say quite confidently, that Reno Modern Dentistry is absolutely awful.

One of my wisdom teeth broke while I was in Reno and I ended up here. They got me in same day and let me know my wisdoms needed to come out NOW. Only complaint I really have with this place and why I didn’t end up having the oral surgery here and waiting until I got back to my home town is they wanted to charge me $1800 because they said I HAD to have IV Sedation for the procedure, which I am completely against and avoid at all costs if I can. I asked if they could just take the broken wisdom(which isn’t impacted) out without IV Sedation but they said no? Ended up getting them taken out a couple months later at my original dentist for almost a grand cheaper and didn’t have to go under. Props for getting me in same day though, it was appreciated, I needed the antibiotics.
