First time here. My husband who grew up in Reno showed us this place. Our son loved walking around in the snow. We went when it wasn't snowing anymore so it was pretty crunchy ice. We walked and saw little creeks of water and beautiful nature all around. We sat in the snow and had a little picnic of snacks and Caprisun. We carried our trash back with us to our car to respect nature. Lovely place to visit. We did see smoke on top of the far high mountain. My husband saw on the news the next day there was a fire in an abandoned cabin! Otherwise, a lovely regional park and I hope to visit in the spring or early summer when we visit the in laws.

Great place to park and go sledding. Picnic tables for eating are available!

Great for snowshoeing. Had a great time in the dog friendly park.

Did not check the center but great trails and views around the center. Ample parking too.

A lot of hiking trails that interconnect. Good for bikes and horses. Easy to get to.
