Menaul Compounding Pharmacy

I really like the staff. They are very busy but everyone I talked to was nice. I was eager to get my new prescription my doctor called in and it took hours for my prescription to be filled. As much as I wanted my prescription quickly when I've worked with other compounding pharmacies in another state they to stayed busy nonstop and it took hours to get a prescription filled. Oftentimes, I overheard customers getting upset because of the wait. One of the nice things about this pharmacy is that they offered free shipping that would have cost me extra at other compounding pharmacies! So far I have no complaints and, hopefully, I don't experience any problems that aren't typical being that there's the extra complication of specializing a medication.

I had to pick up a prescription for my fur baby at the Menaul compounding pharmacy. There was very little wait, they took my prescription right away, asked me a few pertinent questions, then started on the prescription. I was extremely, but pleasantly, surprised that they have flavors for animals; specifically flavors for dogs, for cats, for rabbits and vegetarian animals. The staff wa very polite, professional and caring. The pharmacist call me to the consultation area and explain to me in depth on how to use this prescription and why. It was actually quite enlightening. The pharmacy inside and outside was clean, neat and easily accessible whether by foot or by wheelchair. I will definitely be going back to the Menaul compounding pharmacy.

Great customer service and competent, friendly staff.

The girl at the front called me and told me we won’t make this unless you actually come in. So I go in and ask the girl if they can fill my other script. Granted I haven’t been to this facility before or maybe with my parents when I was real little. The lady tells me my scripts are ready I try to give her my insurance card and then she says “oh we don’t accept insurance?” Why didn’t you mention this from the beginning?!? That is shady business in my opinion! I hate when people hide stuff like that makes me question their entire business practices! Needless to say I will see if I can find a different place and have the script transferred.

I have been going here for 1 year for meds for my pet. They let me know it is ready, but it is NEVER ready and I have to wait. Today I went to pick up, NOT ready although they said it was, and the icing on the cake was “they ran out and can probably have to rest tomorrow”! WTF?! I live 27 miles away, 50 min. This is NOT acceptable! Had they told me they did not have it all, I would have waited to make the damn drive!!! I am asking my Vet for a better choice!
