Western Trails Veterinary Hospital PC

I was driving through Albuquerque with a one-night stopover when I noticed a pretty bad condition in my Wheaten terriers ear. It seems that there are only two emergency vets in Albuquerque. One of them said there was a 4-hour wait and the other one said that they triage everything so if my dog is in stable condition there's a chance she wouldn't get seen at all. I started googling home remedies, but before I knew it, was afraid that this was really serious.nnNeither my dog nor I slept very well that night, and the next morning I called another clinic, but they were full through May. The woman was kind enough to recommend Western Trails to me, which was a half hour away, but I didn't care. They squeezed me in and after a short wait, looked at Zoey's ear. I was so glad that I brought her in because she had a yeast infection, a bacterial infection, and the entire ear was inflamed and full of fluid. They hit me really clear instructions and gave her medication as well, and the price was very reasonable. I was on my way to San Antonio in a little over an hour.nnThe vet and the tech were really amazing at this place and were very professional, courteous and explained everything to me. The vet even came out and told me what a sweet dog I had which warmed my heart especially when I was really worried about her health. We will see how she does in the coming days, but I couldn't be more happy with the treatment that she received at Western Trails.

Called with an eye emergency and they were able to see Mia immediately. Such a GREAT vet!! Dr. Clark was professional and courteous and I highly recommend Western Trails!

Cannot say enough good things about the vets, techs, and staff at Western Trails. No matter what animals they are dealing with, they are thorough, kind, and compassionate.
