The Salinas Pueblo Missions were a great day trip from Albuquerque. They are well maintained, with friendly and knowledgeable rangers. Easy walking and easy to social distance, during Covid. We went in early Spring, which was good timing. There is not a lot of shade. The ruins are impressive, though the history sad. Planning, timing is important if you want to do all three, based on hours of operation, a slightly confusing drive, and minimal facilities. It is not Disneyland, but a good getaway for a day.

It was great. There wasn't anybody there except me,my daughter, and my husband. It's a fairly easy 1/2 mile trail that anyone whom is healthy could easily walk it. Although it was sort of hard for me because of my multiple sclerosis, I was able to finish it in about an hour.

It's beautiful. It's a must visit if you're in the area. Don't mind the drive from Albuquerque amd just go. It'll leave you in awe. The ruins are basically right next to the visitor center. The trails mentioned are so you don't get off track and wander into the grass. The bathrooms were sparkling clean and just as well, right next to the ruins. You'll learn so much history from the visitor plaques, which are featured in Spanish and English. You can do a self-guided tour and learn so much. Just make sure to bring warm clothes because the wind tends to hit heavily (I visited in December).

Nice place to visit; short and nice walk, clean, with nice paths. The signs are informative, and the person who greeted us was very nice. The ruins were interesting and beautiful. I am glad we could bring our dogs as long as they were leashed and we cleaned up after them ud83dude0a

We had a blast! Only 1 hour and 15 minutes from Albuquerque. Beautiful! Amazing! Freezing!!! I can’t wait to go back in the summer!
