Those are some really really good tacos. If I knew I was going to do a review I would have taken a picture. Excellent flavor

Awesome food, we had the huevos rancheros. Kids had the tacos and were quite happy. Very authentic and food truckish. They had some trouble getting the order bagged up correctly, so check it before you leave. But they corrected it quickly and apologized so no worries. Overall a great place to stop for amazing food. Plus, this is the town which inspired Radiator Springs (Cars). Worth a stop just for that. Take the Route 66 bypass if you can.

Outstanding family Mexican restaurantnOn the strength of reviews across the internet, we decided to eat here during an overnight stay in Tucumcari. We are so glad that we made this choice. We tried both the meat and bean burritos smothered in red and green chile, and both were outstanding. The cheese dip was also solid, and the chips downright yummy. We didn't leave any in the basket!nIf you like quality Mexican food in a small family setting, this restaurant should be regarded as a must visit in Tucumcari.

I had the adovada platter and take it from a Northern NM boy, the Red chile was really good as was the pork, really tasty. The dish is more of a Red chile pork stew where carne adovada is a Red chile paste baked onto the pork. Irrespective very tasty dish and well worth the detour. I look forward to next time try some other plates. Restaurant appears to be under renovation so the food is served out of a food truck and restaurant seating limited to a picnic table.
