This hole in the wall restaurant is one you don't want to miss out on. We had breakfast, the Spanish omelet and a smothered burrito. Both were large portions that were full of flavor and absolutely delicious! The older lady there was really sweet. Don't sleep on this place!

We stopped here on a return trip to Texas after a week of skiing in New Mexico. Although the state of NM sucks for only allowing carryout, El Herradero made up for this with some very delicious food. Portions were great, service was speedy, plenty of salsa was provided, but the star of the show were the Chile Rellenos! I have had a lot of Rellenos in my life, but these were hands down the best I have ever eaten, absolutely outstanding! I highly recommend a stop here and will be back the next time that I am through Tucumcari.

Met Norma, she was so nice and a wonderful cook! We bought 30oz container of her salsa! Yum. I had the breakfast burrito, I'll be having it for lunch and dinner. Hubby had the taco plate and he ate every single crumb!nDelicioso!
