The Blue Hole

Very unique place to visit. A great place to scuba dive. Natural underwater Cold spring water in the desert ud83cudfdc ud83dude33 Its 81 feet deep and very clear water.

Stunning however it is closed due to covid. No signs saying so. Police came and removed all swimmers saying only divers could use the area. We had traveled hours to get here and had checked ahead of time to make sure it was open. The hotel we are staying at also was not aware that they were closed. They need better info and signs regarding closure.

Oh my gosh.. this place is beautiful and filled with natural wonders. Not sure of the full story of the history and where the water comes from and goes. the water in Santa Rosa eventually flows to Mexico and makes a stop at the caverns. would love to come back in the swimming season. Hope it is open.

Gorgeous spot! Would love to go diving in it. Very blue and clear. Definitely worth the stop if your in the area.
