Mountain Sprouts Preschool is so grateful for the support of the Just For Kids Foundation. The foundation supports our preschool's student scholarship program allowing working families a more affordable option for child care. Happy, thriving kids and less-stressed parents are essential to the well-being of our community. Thank you Just For Kids Foundation!

The Telluride Choral Society would like to thank the Just For Kids Foundation for its annual support towards tuition assistance for our student singers. JFK has made it possible through the years for many kids to come to know the joy of singing quality choral literature. Thank you, JFK!

JFK has a major positive impact on the kids in the San Miguel Watershed. Individuals are supported through scholarships and many organizations that directly impact the lives of our children supported through this foundation. It is amazing!!!

Thanks to grant funds from the Just For Kids Foundation, our West End Youth Radio Program has been a great success. JFK is comprised of thoughtful people from our community who genuinely care about the next generation! They also put on a killer bike ride in the fall.
Reach Out and Read Colorado (03/13/2020)
Thanks to a grant from the Just For Kids Foundation and various community partners, Reach Out and Read Colorado has been able to successfully provide books and literacy resources for families in the community, enabling all children to read aloud every day. Below is a quote from Dr. Gaylord of Telluride Medical Center demonstrating the shift in culture around reading in San Miguel County that we have been able to achieve:nn“I live in a small town and see my patients outside of the clinic, while walking to the grocery store or post office. Previously, parents would say, ‘Hi Doctor’ and now they say ‘Hi’, and tell me how much they love the book they received. Or they will say, ‘Jimmy, here’s the doctor who gave you that great book!’ Kids now come up to me on the street and thank me for the book or tell me how much they enjoyed the story. There has been a shift from a doctor’s visit to a doctor’s visit AND the great book they receive.”nnThank you to the entire Telluride community for committing to early literacy efforts and building strong foundations for success in your community.
