Fantastic food, comfortable atmosphere, great view of the lake. Host remembered husband by name, staff is very personable. Great prices for authentic Italian. There wasn't much of a dress code, you couldn't be over dressed nor under. Very unique spot given its on a lake. I would recommend to absolutely anybody! BTW- the pasta was fresh as ever. We will be back.
This restaurant is not only beautiful but it’s also managed by one of the greatest chef in California. Chef Marcelo is not only famous in his hometown Naples Italy, but extremely experienced in providing good quality Italian food for a big amount of people. The location of this restaurant is amazing, it is inspiring, romantic, and such a high end decoration. I can predict that this is going to be one of the best Italian restaurant chain in the whole United States of America. You really have to go check it out!
Best Italian place in North County SD we have been. Authentic and in a great location. Nice view on the water at Lake San Marcos. Marcello and the entire staff were incredibly welcoming and all the service was impeccable. From the appetizers to the pizza, pasta and dessert it was all on point. Don't miss this spot, you won't be disappointed! (They were also very accommodating to children as we had 3 kids under 12 in our party of 10)
They have best most authentic pizza I have ever tasted! It felt as I was back in the streets of Italy. You cannot beat the view of the lake San Marcos. I love this place can't wait to continue try more of their authentic Italian dishes.
This place is awful over rated the calamari we order was like rubber , the fish and chips no flavor at all not even salt , the service is beyond horrible and there dessert was gross ..... for the prices they are charging I expected perfection .... the manager did not even care about the customer’s complaints.... first and last time will never go back or recommend this place to no one they over a restaurant ambiance with self serve service if I know that I would not have wasted my money or time there
