Awesome experience today. Stopped in the store and found a HUGE selection and quality coins tastefully displayed. I don't believe I've ever seen such a HUGE selection so neatly displayed - unlike other coin dealers, this shop doesn't have coins 'hidden' under other trays - everything for sale is neatly/clear visible under huge show cases. While there, I engaged the owner in conversation, and he educated me on the concept of gold and silver values and why prices do what they do. I told him he should do youtube videos to educate collectors and investors. To top it all off, I mentioned I needed a capital holder for my Morgan dollar, and he was out of stock on any for sale; however, found a used one in the drawer that he let me have for FREE! Was saddened to hear that he plans to retire/close the business on 7/31/2021 - a quality coin dealer like his will be missed in the Green Bay area. Unsure why so many folks have posted negative things about the service here - I can tell you the owner knows his business and is generous with his knowledge. Thank You owner of Allouez Coin - if I hit the lottery, I'll be purchasing A LOT of your inventory when you retire!!
Not a nice guy was very rude and was hung up on I do not recommend him to anyone stay away
I think I'd Never buy from this owner. We called today about Silver n he was yelling at us n not answering the question on if he had physical Silver? Then he hung up No business like at all..
Professional down to earth people. We brought our father's coin collection in and ironically that is where father bought several of his coins. Definitely would go back if I had business in that medium.
I had a very pleasant experience with store, I was able to purchase some nice coins at a very affordable price. They had one of the Carson city morgans that I was missing.
