My step mom brings her pets here and I was recommended by her. They are always sweet and efficient. Although my dog hates the vet ... they do their best to calm her with a treat. They’re patient and kind with her which makes me at ease. My dog is great with shots but the minute she sees nail clippers it’s game over lolud83dude02. I chose them to spay her (which getting an appointment during this pandemic was super easy!) and she’s currently with them as I type this so I’m eager to see how she is later when I pick her up. Thank you guys for being so great.

Amazing vet, friendly staff. Good covid precautions. Most fair pricing I've seen from literal coast to coast.

Not compassionate, or helpful. Instead of offering referral, because they could not see my pet in a reasonable time period they told me to call another vet service for referral. Could not see my dog for 4+ weeks for just consultation, never mind the surgery thats needed to repair her torn ligament. Poor thing is in pain, and can't walk.

I have been going to Big River for Years. Eddy is a European Basset Hound with severe skin allergies. The staff here are very compassionate and understand what we feel when our pets are sick. I don't take Eddy to Big River because they are the cheapest. I take Eddy there because they are simply the best. At this moment we have discovered an ongoing treatment that has Eddy in full remission from his affliction. There are no words that can describe what it feels like to now have a healthy happy dog who was a miserable mess not that long ago. I love Dr. Dan and his amazing staff! So does Eddy!
