Some of the Hudson police department think they are above the law. Sneaky and rude to say the least. Not polite, not courteous, not much to speak of. I think police should live in the city for which they serve, maybe then they will be more kind to their neighbors since they have to face them more often!nnIt seems to me that the few police who do actually live in this area are much more kind and there to serve and protect as I have been here for 25 years and have spoke with enough of the police force. While I have the utmost respect for their profession, I don't have respect for how some of them act in their profession.

I deal with the Hudson police on a regular basis at work. They have always been professional in every aspect, especially the dispatchers. Thank you for your service.

My family has had a long history of domestic violence from my dad. This has been documented and multiple calls have been made over the years yet every time my brother or I has called the police they do NOTHING even when he has threatened to beat out brains in. What kind of police department doesn’t take threats like that seriously? I guess you have to wait until it actually happens for them to take it serious.
