A Step Above Physical Therapy

Linda is a great physical therapist. She gives 100% to her patients 1:1. She really listens to issues and addresses them ~ such personalized service. She has flexible hours and she is very personable and fun to talk to. I really looked forward to my p.t. appointments! It was great being in a private studio with one p.t. at work, which was Linda, as I used to go to hectic big box p.t. places with therapists who often ran late, gave quick 30 minute appointments, and had multiple patients. There isn't any privacy in those places, either, as multiple people are serviced at once. Linda is the owner of her business and takes great pride in her promptness and her appointments are 1 hour long. My shoulder is 100% back in motion. Her place is also very clean and beautifully decorated, very welcoming.

Thoughtful, careful, and friendly! Linda taught me a lot and helped me get some strengthening and stretching into my daily routine. Wholly recommended!

I would highly recommend A Step Above Physical Therapy to anyone! The owner is very professional,flexible, kind and organized. I was able to get an appointment so I could start PT right away! Linda has completely turned my life around - from living with chronic pain to a point where I feel empowered and really able to manage my pain. When I first called A Step Above, I was having trouble w/my insurance - long story short I had to switch my PCP and my network. I found Linda so helpful during this initial process - granted, mine wasn't the norm, but she knew how to navigate the insurance process, was patient with me throughout (even when I had given up hope of receiving treatment), and went out of her way to speak to my new PCP office to get everything straightened out.nnDuring treatment, Linda gave me 1:1 care for my tennis elbow and for my lower back pain. I received cross fiction massage and ultrasound therapy for the tennis elbow/forearm pain as well as exercises. She also provided home exercises for me and I could immediately see a difference with the pain levels. All throughout, she was attentive, listened to my concerns and worked with me to make sure I was improving.nnBesides giving first class treatment, Linda was respectful of my time - I have a very demanding job, which makes it hard to schedule appointments. Linda worked with me to give me a late time slot; she was super responsive to my emails/texts/calls; she also made sure I could attend the re-evaluations, making me feel supported and prioritized. I totally recommend Linda and A Step Above to everyone - she is just awesome and so dedicated to her patients!

Over the years, I have visited several physical therapists for treatment of my osteoarthritic knees. Recently I fell and injured one of my knees and the orthopedic doctor again prescribed physical therapy treatment. Rather than return to the PT offices where I had been treated in the past, I decided to go to A Step Above Physical Therapy. Treatment here is COMPLETELY different from other offices because Linda, the PT, spends the ENTIRE time working on/treating her patients. In other offices, the PT's could often be working on 3 or 4 patients at the same time! Linda was very knowledgeable and patient, taking time to answer and explain any questions I had. It was clear that Linda cares about her patients as people, that we were not just another arm or leg to be treated. If you are looking for a very qualified and caring PT, I highly recommend going to A Step Above Physical Therapy! BTW, my knee responded very well to the course of treatment I received from A Step Above and should I need physical therapy in the future, I will definitely return there for treatment.
