I am more than happy with the care and service my family and I received from the staff at Newcomer. Everyone at Newcomer went above and beyond to ensure my loved ones wishes were met. They were able to accommodate our special needs and accommodations. I would recommend Newcomer to anyone needing a professional, caring, considerate funeral service.

From the minute Samantha answered the phone....I felt like I was in good hands.nWhat an amazing job they did with my son's funeral...from the minute I and my family walked in the door...to the display of work and respect they gave my son...Through all the arrangement details...to the love and respect they showed my family and guests...it was no easy task...my kid was well liked...and it was busy. The showing was perfect. The next day receiving guest for the procession to Church was perfect and very very professional.nI am forever in Newcomers debt for the professional service our family received.nEvery staff member was on top of ot all..nThank you from the bottom of my heart.

I had my first experience with Newcomer recently. It wasn't horrible but I probably wouldn't recommend this facility because of the staff. The people working the night of the showing kind of reminded me of the security guards at the museum. They were watching our every move. It was uncomfortable. I felt like I was visiting a jail rather than a funeral home. The lady was walking back and forth from the desk through the showing room and back to the desk again and again. I am not sure what she thought was going on but it was all normal funeral activities. People were paying their respects and talking to each other. At one point the lady reprimanded a child for bringing a pretzel out of the kitchen into the lobby. I have been to many funerals at different funeral homes & usually the staff is not such a huge part of the showing. The viewing room was pretty small and only about 1/4 of the guests could fit in it at a time which led to a lot of people hanging out in the lobby.nnOther than the staff the building is nice and well kept up. I would recommend it only for small groups. Our family was way to big to fit in here.
