Owner stole money from several senior citizens impacted by Merrimack Valley Gas Explosions.nMy 94 year old Aunt had her gas fireplace explode during the Merrimack Valley Gas Explosions. Her contractor friend referred her to Scott of All Seasons Hearth & Home Center, formerly DBA Colonial Fireplace in Tewksbury. Scott Hayes gave her a quote and indicated it would be $1600 to replace the damaged gas fireplace and that he required full payment. As her friend was already working with Scott she paid him. Her friend's elderly mother also needed similar repairs and had to pay as well. Needless to say, Scott Hayes at All Seasons Hearth & Home Center took money from all of them and disappeared. He did speak with my aunt, making excuses on 1 or 2 occasions and scheduled a date/time that he would be by but never showed up and never called. Others have had same experience with Scott as detailed on a Facebook page for Merrimack Valley Gas Explosion victims. These 3 victims just want their money refunded - what kind of person steals from senior citizens on pensions. Turned over to legal avenues to address as the amount and age of victims is criminal in Massachusetts.
