This was my childhood church. It is every bit as beautiful as I remember and more. And the people have always been very friendly and sweet.

The first time we visited it was apparent that the Spirit was here! My husband and I had been looking for a church for awhile and we knew this was the one! That was 2 & 1/2 years ago! We wanted a church that invested in our kids and Ascension has an awesome youth ministry set up. God has moved mightily in our lives by, the people, who have become close friends! Showing us their unwavering faith in the little and the big things in life! We wanted a body of believers to come along side of us, to live life with us in the ditches and on the mountain top and that has been Ascension through and through! God is truly doing some great work here! All Glory be to God!

Lovely rural church nestled in a small community. The worship ranges from hymns to modern music and the age groups of the congregation is varied nicely. Everyone there is friendly and will likely invite you over for lunch after the service. :)
